Hi there! My name is Vera. I am a 33 years old certified horse coach in Ibiza. Let me give you a glimp of my story.

Horses have been my love for many years, since being a youngster. A few years ago I moved to Ibiza to escape the fast paced city life of Amsterdam. Here I experience again the unique quality of horses. The combination of both powers, the horse and Ibiza’s energy, brought true magic! I realised that horse coaching deserves a way more notable spot on this island. The island where many seek personal- and spiritual development. This is why I am here. To enrich you with an unforgettable experience and a whole new journey in your personal growth.

In my twenties I experienced the impact of horses. My dear aunt Gerda Dekker is a horse coach. She inspired me for years with her Icelandic horses in the little hills of Nijmegen, with her company DC Paardencoaching. I joined a lot of sessions and it always had a surprisingly big impact on participants. I now know that I want to continue her legacy. Next to that, I gained a solid base in coaching with horses by completing an extensive 1:1 education course by Larissa Gies. She is founder of EQ Academy and a real Ibiza ranger. Both of these highly experienced women were pioneers and the first to introduce horse coaching in The Netherlands. Also, I practice as an NLP Coach (Neuro Linguistic Programming), accredited by the Mind Academy. 

My professional life started with Communication studies, in later years I transitioned to product development and storytelling in media and film. As an awarded creator, I know how to reveal stories. Here I learned how to make people feel safe, comfortable and to be themselves around me. Supporting them to express their essence and storyline. Having these unique and valuable experiences in my career, supported me to elevate my coaching skills. I was humbled to have my first feature documentary presented in cinemas and screened throughout The Netherlands. A crazy wonderful experience that reached big audiences. It also motivated me to move on to smaller and in-depth settings, with the ambition to help individuals to grow.

Ibiza enriches me with it’s nature, spirituality and positive-minded people. People who choose their own path. It personally rekindled what I loved so much as a child, being in nature with horses. Paving my path towards my own destiny, to connect people with their true essence via horse coaching.
